My Service Technicians like the unit for the ride and handling. We’ve experienced high teens and low twenties for fuel efficiency, this is the best feature of the Sprinter tire service truck by far. |
Operating the Stellar Sprinter tire service truck has certainly helped to put dollars to our bottom line. It has improved our Tire Technician employee retention, as it’s easier to keep good employees when you have good solid equipment for them to work from. It also has a very nice look to it. For some this may not mean a lot, but for our company, having nice looking equipment plays into our success. I’m a firm believer in dressing for success and for us our equipment must look good and perform well for us to succeed.
I would recommend the Stellar Sprinter tire service truck to other tire dealers because of the fuel efficiency.
I have worked for Bob Sumerel Tire Co. for eight years and have looked at a lot of other brands of equipment. The other brands that I have looked at have some nice features, but overall Stellar builds the nicest unit in my opinion. I feel very fortunate to be working for a company that looks beyond the initial cost of the equipment. They take the total cost of ownership into account when looking at the equipment and have found the Stellar to be the better value. In many cases we’re on the second cab and chassis with older bodies. We generally only have to repaint the bodies, replace doors locks and service the compressors and they’re ready for service back in the field.
The other factor that keeps us coming back is the staff. Someone once said you’re only as good as your people and I can honestly say they’re one of Stellar’s best assets. From the Service/Parts staff to the staff in sales, we always get the help that is needed.”
