Spider Attachment to move ISO Containers
The Spider attachment allows a standard Stellar Hooklift to attach to 20-foot long ISO shipping containers without the need for additional understructure on the container. The Spider attachment kit does not interfere with the normal use of a Stellar Hooklift.
The Spider frame attaches to existing anchor points on the ISO container, and in a very short time period, the container is attached, loaded onto the hooklift and transported. In conjunction with certain Stellar Hooklifts, it can handle both empty and loaded containers with a gross weight capacity of up to 40,000 pounds. When the Spider attachment is removed from the hooklift, the hooklift can be used for other, more standard applications set-up for a hooklift, such as flatbeds and dump boxes. Spider kits are available for both 8-foot and 8.5-foot high 20-foot long ISO containers.
Dockloader
In response to customer requests for added flexibility in their Stellar Shuttle-equipped truck, Stellar Industries, Inc. developed the Dockloader. The Dockloader allows a smaller sized truck to bring the rear of a Shuttle-equiped truck body up to loading dock level.
Quickly other uses were found. One Stellar Hooklift owner uses his Dockloader to stack his open top boxes in his yard to conserve space. Another user has found additional business by being able to retrieve filled refuse and recycling boxes off loading docks. The many uses continue to expand for the Stellar Shuttle hydraulic Hooklift and the Stellar Dockloader.
