Stellar Industries Powerhouse 24
Market research and consumer demands has prompted Stellar Industries to develop the Powerhouse 24 hydraulic power supply. This unit allows the operator to manipulate the crane or other hydraulic equipment* with or without the chassis engine running or when a pump and PTO is not applicable.
By using the Stellar Powerhouse 24, the operator utilizes only 12-volts to run the 24-volt system, therefore, each 200 watts of load on the inverter requires only 10 amps DC from the battery, while developing 3000 psi of hydraulic pressure.
Conversely, the unit can be operated with the engine running. When the crane function selector is released, the truck charging system immediately begins the recharge cycle in the Powerhouse 24. Either way, with the chassis engine on or off, an intermittent (50%) duty cycle will allow a minimum of sixty minutes of use.
This unit is a fantastic source of portable power, designed to be used with Stellar model 6620 and 9620 telescopic cranes. It is an economical addition to a Stellar Mechanic Service truck.
