The Stellar 1280 SE (Sprinter Edition) Service Truck
The new 1280 SE aluminum service truck is designed and built exclusively for the new Dodge/Freightliner Sprinter chassis. This economical and fuel-efficient package is ideal for metro and road fleet service.
The Sprinter with its 6-cylinder diesel engine and automatic transmission is capable of over 20 MPG! With the 1280 SE package capable of over 3,000-pounds of cargo, it is an economical and efficient alternative to meet the demands of tire service.
Service Body FeaturesIncluded are rounded automotive style wheel wells with standard halogen low level built-in flood lights on both left and right sides. Compartment lighting, plus four safety strobe lights complete the package.
Fold back door design for unobstructed access to tool storage compartment with over 40-cubic foot of tool storage. A 36” vertical cabinet from the driver’s side. Note the adjustable shelves and the heavy-duty reinforced door design with stainless steel hinges. All door hardware is bolted on with stainless steel bolts and lock nuts.
All of the tool compartments feature the black, powder coated compression style T-handle with tamper resistant locking mechanism.

Direct Hydraulic Liftgate Features (EDL-54 Liftgate)
The 1280 SE is equipped with Stellar’s EDL-54 1300-pound hydraulic liftgate with a grip-strut platform and folding rail tire stop. A chassis brake, turn, and marker light bar is top mounted and used for greater visibility and safety.
